If the bank says no
If you don’t qualify for a traditional bank loan, here are some other options:

Small Business Administration: Provides many types of help, including the Guaranteed Loan Program for start-ups or service businesses, and the Prequalification Loan Program for women, veterans and minorities. For more information, go to

Community Economic Development Fund: Assists distressed neighborhoods by providing greater access to capital, technical assistance to small business, and support for community economic development.
