2007 Holiday SurveyEach fall CBIA conducts a survey as to the holiday schedule members will follow in the upcoming year. For more information about this survey, please contact Phillip Montgomery at 860-244-1982 or via e-mail at montgomp@cbia.com.The following table represents what members reported for their 2007 holiday schedule:
* Companies were asked if they planned on giving any additional time of in addition to Wed. July 4. Very few companies, that were not already closed because of a mandatory shut down, said they were also giving July 3 off. A number left open the possibility of adding an additional day.
** Most in the other category indicated company was closed all week because of shutdown (paid or unpaid).
Companies were also asked if they will shut down for the three days following Christmas. The following represents the percentage saying "yes" for those days: December 26 (11%), December 27 (7%) and December 28 (9%).
