“Internet applicant” rule takes effectFederal contractors that accept employment applications electronically are reminded that new rules take effect Feb. 6 clarifying who is considered a job applicant for recordkeeping purposes.With the deadline right around the corner, the Office of Federal Contract Compliance has issued a set of “Frequently Asked Questions” (FAQs) providing additional detail about some of the rule’s specifics. As of Feb. 6, contractors must provide race, ethnicity and gender information for applicants who satisfy OFCCP’s definition of internet applicant.
