SMALL BUSINESS
New guide aims to boost
regulatory flexibility movement
To help states implement regulatory flexibility programs, the SBA’s Office of Advocacy has published the State Guide to Regulatory Flexibility for Small Businesses.
According to this best-practices guide, once a regulatory flexibility law is in place, a state should make sure that regulatory officials understand the law, that small-business stakeholders become a resource for agencies’ analysis efforts, and that there is strong executive leadership from the top ensuring compliance with the law or executive order.
