Laptop security tips among help available from OnGuard Online

A stolen laptop computer leaves your company vulnerable to a disastrous security breach, exposing your company’s or clients’ information.

To protect your laptops, let your employees know about the security tips available at OnGuardOnline.gov.

OnGuard Online is a multimedia, interactive consumer education campaign launched by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and a partnership involving other federal agencies and members of the technology industry. The campaign’s comprehensive Web site, OnGuardOnline.gov, has tips, articles (including the one above), videos and interactive activities. The quizzes and other information on OnGuardOnline.gov are not copyright-protected, so you can download the information for use in your own computer security program.

The content is available in Spanish through AlertaenLinea.gov.
