Businesses Reaching Out

Business leaders know that the current and future success of their companies — and the nation's economy — depend on having a well-educated, skilled workforce. Over the past two decades, the businesses have reached out to the education community in so many ways — ranging from helping to drive public policy changes/improvements at the state and federal levels to working directly with students and teachers. No matter what the involvement, the message is clear: the business community wants to help address the challenge of ensuring that all students are prepared to meet the challenges of the global economy.
