The following teacher-submitted lesson plans and projects were developed by Connecticut high-school and college faculty who participated in summer externships. Connecticut manufacturing and technology firms sponsor these work-based experiences so that teachers can gain firsthand experience in today's manufacturing technologies and processes and pass that knowledge on to their students. Externships are administered by CBIA's Education Foundation in partnership with the Connecticut Community College System's Regional Center for Next Generation Manufacturing, a program of the College of Technology.
