Toxics, Pesticides, Smart Growth, Tools for Schools, Toxics, and the Urban

"State Brownfields
and Voluntary Response Programs: An Update from the States" -
now available on the EPA Brownfields Web site.
State programs are at the forefront of the brownfields cleanup and
redevelopment, as both the public and the private market recognize the
responsibilities and opportunities given to states in the federal
Brownfields Law. During the past three years, since the federal
Brownfields Law took effect, many different approaches have been put
into place to meet the multiple challenges and common objectives of
brownfields cleanup and reuse. Several states, in fact, have adopted
sweeping new legislative changes to encourage cleanups.
