Harmful workers’ comp proposal defeated in Insurance Committee

(April 28, 2008) Last week, HB-5334, which would have penalized employers for exercising their right to question or challenge medical treatment recommendations for workers' compensation claimants, died in the Insurance Committee on on a 9-9 tie vote. CBIA opposed the bill.
