‘What’s the Deal’ with energy in Connecticut?

(Sept. 12, 2006) Market changes and rapidly rising energy costs may soon force electricity prices to increase steeply for some Connecticut customers. But businesses can take better control of their energy costs if they have the right information.

“What’s the Deal? VII” on Tuesday, Oct. 24, at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Cromwell, will explore several state, regional and federal energy-saving programs that Connecticut businesses can take advantage of.

Learn about the latest technologies and services that are available to combat rising energy bills. “What’s the Deal? VII” will bring representatives for new energy products and services directly to you in the conference exhibit hall.

The competitive marketplace offers self-generation, advanced conservation technology, competitive supply, and other energy services and products. Find out about the technology that is currently available to help your business drive down energy costs. Also hear from Connecticut businesses that are taking advantage of state programs that are saving them thousands in energy costs.

Prices for this conference: CBIA members: $125 per person; nonmembers: $165 per person; and government officials: $99 per person. Register by contacting Lise Cliche via e-mail at registrar@cbia.com or at 860-244-1977.
