How to contact your legislators (CBIA's Tips)

When contacting a state legislator about an important issue, you should:

Identify the issue that concerns you and, if appropriate, the name and number of a specific bill. You can get this information by using this site (toolbar on right) to search for a bill or you can call CBIA's Public Affairs Department at (860) 244-1900.

Phone numbers and e-mail addresses for specific legislators can be obtained through our "Contact Your Legislator" data base.

CBIA membership councils

You can get involved by participating on a CBIA membership council that has the eyes and ears of state government. They are the perfect platforms from which to discuss today's biggest issues and promote the concerns of Connecticut's business community.

For information on how to join, contact CBIA's Adam Ney (860-244-1900).

Legislative Events

You can get involved by participating at on of our many events held for businesses and state legislators. Legislative Issue Breakfast Meetings, Manufacturing & Technology Day and Business Day are the perfect platforms from which to discuss today's biggest issues and promote the concerns of Connecticut's business community to state legislators.

For information on upcoming events, contact CBIA's Elizabeth Krueger (860-244-1900).
