Custom Survey Service
You’re making a proposal to top management when your boss turns
to you and asks: “Well, what do other companies like us do?”
Contacting companies yourself in search of answers would be time-consuming,
and you might run into hesitation about discussing policy information.
What’s more, if you want salary information, finding someone who’ll
give it to you could be very difficult.
But CBIA’s Custom Survey Service can get you the specific information you
need — without increasing the burden on your staff’s time. As a third
party, we can collect information from companies while ensuring that individual
data remains confidential. This is especially important when salary surveys are
being conducted.
What is a custom survey?
A custom survey is tailored to address your company’s individual questions
on regional or industry-specific compensation and personnel practices, or your
employees’ opinions. It can be a survey of the average salary for a particular
position in a specific group of companies, or what companies like yours are offering
in the area of early retirement incentives or medical and dental benefits.
The custom survey includes only companies or the employer groups that fit the
criteria you choose. You can choose companies within your industry, within your
size range, or within your labor market — the companies you compete with.
How does it work?
First, tell us what you need to find out and we’ll work on determining
the scope of the survey and which companies should participate. We’ll also
discuss how you want the results reported. The questionnaire is put together
with a list of companies for us to contact. Once you agree, we take it from there.
We’ll mail the survey, collect the returns, follow up on nonrespondents,
and compute and report the results to you in the agreed-upon format.
It’s as easy as that. To find out more, just
fill out the form below, or contact Phillip Montgomery at 860-244-1900 or via
e-mail at

What does a
custom survey cost?
That depends on its scope. Some elements influencing the cost are
the number of questions/positions being surveyed, the number
of companies invited to participate and the administrative time
spent conducting
the
survey.
We’ll give you a quote up front.
