Announcing New Oxford USA Plans
For Employees Residing Outside Connecticut
Beginning Oct. 1, 2008 (or upon renewal for existing groups), we will offer four new Oxford USA plans in the HC2 product suite. Oxford USA plans are available to employees residing in certain states/areas that don’t have access to Connecticut or contiguous-state products. In addition, all Oxford USA plans will move from employer choice to employee choice.
The four new plans are being offered in addition to our current Oxford USA $20 and $30 plans. They are:
Oxford USA POS 20/40 $1500
Oxford USA POS 30/45 $3000
Oxford USA POS $2000
Oxford USA PPO $2000 D (HSA-Compatible)
Plan summaries are available on our website.
The Power of Choice
Also beginning Oct. 1, 2008 (or upon renewal for existing groups), employees may now choose their Oxford USA plan from within the product suite their employer offers. In the past, the Oxford USA plan offered to a group was determined by the employer. Now, employees who reside outside of Connecticut can have the flexibility to choose the plan that’s best for them; just like their Connecticut co-workers!
Your clients can now offer their out-of-state employees lower-cost plans, such as Hospital/Facilities Deductible and HSA-compatible plans, to be more in line with the benefits offered to Connecticut employees. We think you’ll agree this is another great feature within the CBIA Health Connections program…..once again, giving you and your clients the power of choice.
