Oxford Health Plans offers three solutions for out-of-area coverage. Availability depends on the state and/or county in which an employee lives.

In-Area enrollment through the Oxford Freedom Network of providers:

In addition to Connecticut, members residing in these states and/or counties have access to all Oxford PPO, POS, and HMO products.

Delaware: entire state covered
New Jersey: entire state covered
New York counties covered: Bronx, Dutchess, Kings, Nassau, New York, Orange, Putnam, Queens, Richmond, Rockland, Suffolk, Sullivan, Ulster, and Westchester
Pennsylvania counties covered: Berks, Bucks, Carbon, Chester, Columbia, Dauphin, Delaware, Lackawanna, Lehigh, Luzerne, Montgomery, Northampton, Philadelphia and Schuylkill

In-Area Expanded enrollment through the United Healthcare Network of providers:

Members residing in these states and/or counties have access to Oxford PPO and POS products only. HMO products are not available.

Rhode Island: entire state covered
Massachusettes counties covered: Berkshire, Franklin, Hampden, Hampshire, and Worcester
New York counties covered: All counties not covered through the in-area Oxford Freedom Network (see above)
