TWELVE CONNECTICUT BUSINESS EXECUTIVES ELECTED TO
CBIA BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Twelve Connecticut business executives were elected to four-year terms on the board of directors of the Connecticut Business & Industry Association (CBIA) at the association's Oct. 29 Annual Meeting in Hartford.
CBIA is the state's largest business organization, with 10,000 member companies throughout Connecticut. The board of directors approves the organization's plans, policies, and strategies — and, in particular, focuses on ways to make Connecticut more competitive as a business location.
"It is a great pleasure to welcome these twelve business leaders to the CBIA board of directors,” said John R. Rathgeber, CBIA president and CEO. “They each bring their own unique and interesting perspectives to the board and will be instrumental in working to develop policies that will help improve the state's business climate, allowing Connecticut businesses to compete, grow and create more good jobs here.”
