Health, wellness and safety are important issues for every employer in Connecticut and across the country, and it's crucial to learn about OSHA's compliance requirements and best practices being used to keep employees safe and healthy on the job.
Dr. Amy Kahn, national medical director, Wellness TotalCare, Concentra, an expert on public health and wellness, is the keynote speaker for the Connecticut Business & Industry Association's (CBIA) 2008 Health, Wellness & Safety Conference on March 27, 2008. She will discuss programs and workplace interventions related to the health and productivity of workers.
The conference will also feature sessions on:

ADA/workers' comp accommodations and light duty issues
Emerging OSHA issues
Accident investigation and analysis
Using in-house talent to make your safety program more effective
The conference includes exhibitors showcasing the latest in health, wellness and safety products and services available for the workplace.
The cost is $99 for CBIA members, with each additional member $75, and $149 for nonmembers.
The conference is sponsored by CBIA and Concentra. CBIA is the state's largest business organization, with more than 10,000 member companies.
