UConn Quarterly Economic Review Will Be Released
Top business leaders and economists will gather to examine issues and challenges facing businesses in Fairfield County at the Connecticut Business & Industry Association's Fairfield County Economic Conference:

Experts will discuss the Fairfield County economy and what's being done to maintain the state's high-quality workforce and encourage the growth of key industries.
Kent Gladding, senior vice president and chief investment officer at Citizens Bank, will discuss financial trends and markets and how what happens in Fairfield County affects the entire state.
The conference will also feature the fall release of The Connecticut Economy: A University of Connecticut Quarterly Review, presented by the publication's editor and economist, Steven Lanza. Lanza will preview some of the topics covered in the fall issue, including the high cost of living, traffic congestion, and other economic challenges facing the Connecticut.
The free conference will cover issues related to energy, education, telecommuting, the economic strengths and weaknesses of Fairfield County, and how the state can help businesses succeed in today's highly competitive environment.
The event is sponsored by CBIA, Citizens Bank, RBS, Shipman & Goodwin, RSM McGladrey, the Stamford Chamber of Commerce and the University of Connecticut.
There is no cost to attend this conference.
