Experts say we are in an economic recovery, but when will we see more investment and job creation in Connecticut? At the annual Economic Summit & Outlook presented by the Connecticut Business & Industry Association and the MetroHartford Alliance, top business leaders and economic experts will discuss current and future economic and political trends at the state and national levels, and how those trends will affect Connecticut businesses and the economy in 2010.

The keynote speakers are:
- Eric Rosengren, president and CEO, Federal Reserve Bank of Boston
- Liam McGee, chairman and CEO, The Hartford Financial Services Group Inc.
A panel of legislative leaders will examine business issues that will be addressed in this year’s legislative session of the state legislature. The panelists are:
- Senate President Pro Tempore Donald Williams (D) (invited)
- Senate Republican Leader John McKinney
- House Speaker Christopher Donovan (D) (invited)
- House Republican Leader Larry Cafero
In a separate address, Nick Perna, economic adviser to Webster Financial Corp., will discuss Connecticut’s economic outlook for the year.
A panel of business executives will discuss the opportunities and challenges in the current economy:
- Peter Kent, chairman and CEO, Bicron Electronics Co.
- Ramona Carlow, president, AT&T Connecticut
- Jerry Long, president and CEO, PCC Technology Group
