Pathways to Technology Careers Workshop

The Connecticut Business & Industry Association (CBIA), the Waterbury Public Schools and the Connecticut Community College’s College of Technology Regional Center for Next Generation Manufacturing are hosting a Pathways to Technology Careers workshop to introduce Waterbury-area students to a number of high-demand careers in Connecticut.

Businesspeople from across the state will offer workshops and discuss the skills required to fill jobs in the engineering, environmental science, bioscience, energy and manufacturing industries. Students will also get a tour of the new technology center at Naugatuck Valley Community College.

More than 150 students from Kaynor Tech, Crosby, Kennedy and Wilby high schools will participate in the workshop.
