Lynn Atkinson |
As Assistant Counsel with CBIA, Lynn Atkinson provides compliance assistance to members on all aspects of employment law and regulations and human resource (HR) policy and practice. She is the editor of CBIA’s monthly HR and Safety electronic newsletters and is also a regular contributor to the monthly CBIA News.
Atkinson earned her J.D. degree with honors from Western New England College, and a B.A. degree from Connecticut College.
Before joining CBIA, Atkinson had 15 plus years of general labor, employment, and HR related experience. Her special areas of expertise were employment discrimination and affirmative action. She has also served as the managing editor for a variety of HR compliance manuals and has authored articles for numerous legal and HR publications, including a monthly column for a national HR magazine.
