The state’s largest business organization and a Connecticut-specific career Web site have recently renewed their partnership designed to help match employers who are struggling to find employees with those who are looking for work. "For the past two years, the Connecticut Business & Industry Association (CBIA) and CTJobs.com have worked to make finding the right employees over the Web easier and less expensive," said Tom Guerra, CBIA director of products and services. CTJobs.com features more than 1,500 Connecticut job listings and 12,000 resumes and has more than 15,000 subscribers using the service. CTJobs was recently recognized by Weddle’s, a nationwide HR consulting firm, as one of the top employment Web sites in the nation. "CTJobs is exclusively designed for Connecticut businesses and job seekers. And because of its Connecticut focus, there is a specific expectation in what the employer and employee will find on the site," said Jason Neubauer, president of CTJobs.com. In addition, the "Jobs By Email" feature added last year has grown to more than 35,000 registered job seekers. This service delivers newly listed employment postings to registered job seekers. Visit either cbia.com or CTJobs.com to post a resume, search the job listings or post a position. CBIA is Connecticut’s largest business organization, with over
10,000 members. CBIA’s mission is to create a competitive business
climate that leads to economic growth and job creation.
