The keynote luncheon speaker, Dr. Allan Colman, vice president of DecisionQuest, a research and trial consulting firm, will discuss ethical conduct of corporations. He will examine corporations on trial in the media and in the courtroom and how juror perceptions of corporate behavior influence the outcome of employment litigation.

  • What the new federal overtime rules mean for Connecticut employers and beyond
  • Hiring in an expanding job market
  • Responding to workplace crises
  • Workplace harassment issues

The symposium is presented by the Connecticut Business & Industry Association (CBIA) and Jackson Lewis, a national labor and employment law firm, and is sponsored by the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) Southern Connecticut Chapter.
