THIRTEEN EXECUTIVES ELECTED TO CBIA BOARD OF DIRECTORS Thirteen business executives were elected to four-year terms on the board of directors of the Connecticut Business & Industry Association (CBIA) at the association’s Oct. 26 Annual Meeting in Cromwell. CBIA is the state’s largest business organization, with 10,000 member companies throughout Connecticut. The board of directors approves the organization’s plans, policies and strategies, and particularly focuses on ways to make Connecticut more competitive as a business location. “These new board members will help us develop policies aimed at continuing to improve the state’s business climate,” said Kenneth O. Decko, CBIA’s president and CEO. “Together we will keep working with state leaders to provide an overall economic climate in which companies choose to invest in their Connecticut companies, expand their operations here and hire our citizens.” The new members of the CBIA board of directors are:
