CBIA HELPS CONNECTICUT BUSINESSES OBTAIN LOANS

Program offers alternative financing options to businesses that need it most

Financing Alternatives Seminar

Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2005

8:30-11 a.m.

Rocky Hill Marriott

The Connecticut Business & Industry Association (CBIA), through its CBIA Service Corp. subsidiary; Webster Bank; and Updike, Kelly & Spellacy are sponsoring a financing alternatives seminar to assist small to mid-size companies with financing options that will help grow their businesses.

Many of the state’s small businesses often face a gap in financing and need more funding than conventional financing can provide. This program is designed to provide information on a full range of innovative financing options, including direct and SBA loans, leasing alternatives, mezzanine financing and how to avoid some of the pitfalls of lending.

Alternative financing can offer small businesses the capital they need to invest in their companies, develop new clients and hire more workers.

For more information about the program, and an agenda, please visit www.cbia.com.

CBIA is Connecticut’s largest business organization, with 10,000 member companies.
