BANK OF AMERICA EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT ELECTED TO CBIA BOARD OF DIRECTORS

The Connecticut Business & Industry Association (CBIA) elected Kevin J. Cunningham to a four-year term on its board of directors at its Oct. 26 Annual Meeting.

Cunningham is executive vice president of Bank America, in Hartford. He is one of 13 new members elected to the CBIA board who will begin their terms Dec. 1.

CBIA is the state’s largest business organization, with 10,000 member companies throughout Connecticut. The board of directors approves the organization’s plans, policies and strategies, and particularly focuses on ways to make Connecticut a better place to do business and create jobs.

He is a former board member of the Community Renewal Team and has served as the bank’s chairperson for fundraising for the United Way and the Hartford Arts Council.

Cunningham has an M.B.A. from the University of Connecticut and a B.S. from Southern Connecticut State University.

Cunningham is a Connecticut native. He lives in Simsbury with his wife and three children.
