CONNECTICUT EMPLOYERS LEARN ABOUT NEW WORKPLACE LAWS AT CBIA CONFERENCE
Connecticut employers will learn about newly enacted labor and employment laws, recent court cases and emerging trends at the Connecticut Business & Industry Association (CBIA)/Jackson Lewis Connecticut Workplace Law Symposium. Fri., Oct. 20, 2006 8:15 a.m. – 4 p.m. The Trumbull Marriott
The keynote luncheon speaker, Julie Jansen, author, motivational speaker and consultant, will present “You Want Me to Work With Who? Eleven Keys to a Stress-Free, Satisfying and Successful Work Life…No Matter Who You Work With.” She will offer real-life advice on how to work effectively with even the most difficult people, whether they’re the boss or a colleague. There will also be several panels and breakout sessions on employment issues:
The symposium is presented by the Connecticut Business & Industry Association (CBIA) and Jackson Lewis, a national labor and employment law firm with offices in Stamford and Hartford, and is sponsored by the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), Southern Connecticut Chapter.
