Through our Management Institute, CBIA offers courses designed to help develop your company’s future leaders. Our program will give them the additional skills they need to round out their managerial abilities.
Areas of study include business strategy, marketing, and managerial development. These courses will help prepare managers for their next level of responsibilities.

Learn about financial theory as the foundation for making good managerial decisions. Particular emphasis will be placed on the monetary valuation of current and future assets and strategic and tactical issues pertaining to cash flow. Exercises will explore how accounting concepts discussed apply to real business situations. Instructor: Paul Ballasy, CPA, Haggett Longobardi, a division of J.H. Communication for Managers
Marketing Strategies, Session I** Learn how to analyze the needs of the market and what will motivate your customers to make a buying decision. During the first session, you’ll learn quantitative tools and techniques for analyzing competitors, anticipating their actions and supporting your marketing decisions. (3.25 strategic HRCI recertification credit hours.)
Marketing Strategies, Session II**
Strategic Decision Making Explore creative methods for facilitating objective and effective decision making. Participants will learn how to gather information, determine when there are sufficient resources and information to support a decision, gauge risks and uncertainties, and gain an understanding of analytical methods that can be used in decision making. Instructor: Jim Jackson, president and CEO, Essex Group (6.25 general HRCI recertification credit hours.)
