Description

OSHA laws and guidelines can be confusing. This 10-hour outreach training program is a voluntary course designed to educate employees with safety responsibilities who have varied experience in the field. This course will help you understand the laws and be better prepared for inspections. You can’t afford to miss this general industry training.

The program includes:

  • Introduction to OSHA, OSH Act/General Duty Clause 5 (a)(1), inspections, citations and penalties (CFR Part 1903)
  • Record keeping (CFR part 1904)
  • Walking and working surfaces
  • Means of egress and fire protection
  • Electrical
  • Flammable and combustible liquids
  • Personal protective equipment
  • Machine guarding
  • Hazard communication
  • Bloodborne pathogens

Each attendee who completes the 10-hour course will receive a student course completion card from OSHA.

 

This course is available to you through the CBIA/OSHA/CONN-OSHA Alliance for only $50. Enrollment will be limited to just 35 attendees, and no walk-in registrations will be accepted. Your registration fee covers course materials, parking, continental breakfast and lunch for both days.
