The Mission of the Institute is: "to enable Connecticut enterprises to achieve strategic advantage through self-funding, expert-assisted Lean Sigma implementation."

The Connecticut Business & Industry Association (CBIA) created the Lean Sigma Institute from our belief that implementation of Lean and Six Sigma principles offers Connecticut businesses, in all industry segments, significant opportunities for superior operating and financial results leading to sustainable competitive advantage. We also believe that the Institute fills the need for a Connecticut-based, comprehensive, ‘one-stop’ approach for Lean Sigma development and implementation.

The Institute is a joint venture with R.E.V.V. International, which has been delivering top-quality Lean Sigma to companies in Connecticut and around the world for more than a decade.
