The product must be made using a manufacturing process. For example, a restaurant that makes “made to order pizza” would not qualify, but a food manufacturer that mass produces frozen pizzas would. CBIA reserves the right to determine what products qualify for the contest.

Additionally, while the company headquarters can be located outside of Connecticut, the product must be manufactured within the state.

Companies may only have one product featured in the top 16, so only one product nomination per company is encouraged.

A winning product is indefinitely prohibited from being nominated again.

Voting is open to the public. Each person may cast one vote per device per head-to-head matchup per round during the voting period. Once a device has been used to cast a vote in a head-to-head match, it cannot be used to cast another vote in that match until the next round opens. Any attempt to circumvent this restriction using internet bots or any other means to artificially increase vote totals is prohibited and may subject the nominee or contestant to disqualification.

Voting for each round is as follows:

• Round 1 (16 products): 8/21/24 – 9/3/24
• Round 2 (eight products): 9/4/24 – 9/10/24
• Round 3 (four products): 9/11/24 – 9/17/24
• Round 4 (two products): 9/18/24 – 9/27/24
