Ashley Zane is a senior public policy associate with CBIA, Connecticut’s leading business organization.

She represents the views of Connecticut businesses regarding the state budget and spending, labor and employment, and commerce related issues.

Prior to CBIA, Zane was a policy analyst with the House Republican Office covering committees including the Finance, Revenue, and Bonding Committee, Appropriations Committee, and Commerce Committee.

In that position, she provided bill analysis and policy advice to caucus members and the General Assembly. She also assisted in drafting legislation and amendments considered by those committees.

Zane earned her bachelor’s degree and her MPA from the University of Connecticut.
