Brian Corvo is assistant counsel with CBIA, Connecticut’s leading business organization.
He represents the positions of Connecticut’s business community on business law and liability matters, workers’ compensation, transportation issues, and state fiscal matters.
Corvo previously served as counsel for a real estate development consulting company with a focus on developing in-state renewable energy and natural gas projects. In that role he worked closely with the firm’s outside legal counsel and government relations and lobbying team.
Prior to CBIA, Corvo was a lobbyist with the Hartford-based firm, Doyle, D’Amore & Balducci and represented a diverse group of clients across a variety of industries.
In that position he worked with the firm’s clients to develop and implement government relations strategies to advance their interests through Connecticut’s legislative and regulatory processes.
Corvo earned his LL.M from Western New England University School of Law and his juris doctorate from New England School of Law. He has a bachelor’s degree from Hobart and William Smith Colleges.
