Businesses To Participate in 2022 Safe and Sound Week

Businesses across the country will show their dedication to safe workplaces during OSHA’s Safe and Sound Week from August 15 through August 21.

The nationwide event encourages workplaces to promote health and safety programs. 

Private industry employers reported 2.7 million nonfatal workplace injuries and illnesses in 2020. 

Successful programs proactively identify and manage workplace hazards before they cause injury and illness.

Employers are encouraged to plan activities and events during Safe and Sound week to promote workplace safety. 

Connecticut businesses are among those participating in the event, including Sikorsky, Marrakech, Connecticut Spring and Stamping, Eversource Energy, and Dimeo Construction Company.
