Manufacturing Day 2016 will be celebrated across the country on Friday, October 7.
The annual event’s goal is to celebrate modern manufacturing and inspire the next generation of manufacturers.
By working together, manufacturers can address the skilled labor shortage, connect with future generations, and ensure the ongoing prosperity of the whole industry.
Register your events to appear with hundreds of other events happening nationwide.
Notify local schools, municipal and state officials, media and the general public of any events hosted at your facility.
Manufacturing Day is sponsored and co-produced by the National Association of Manufacturers, the Fabricators & Manufacturers Association, the Manufacturing Extension Program, and the Manufacturing Institute.
CBIA members already committed to Manufacturing Day include Barnes Group (Bristol), Bead Electronics (Milford), Dacruz Manufacturing (Bristol), Dymotek (Ellington), Lauretano Sign Group (Terryville), Lockheed Martin (Stratford), Noujaim Tool (Waterbury), Penn Globe (North Branford), TIGHITCO (North Branford), and Trumpf (Farmington).
Member company Deloitte, a Gold Sponsor of Manufacturing Day, is providing a survey tool for host companies to measure the impact Manufacturing Day has on changing people’s perception of the industry.
CBIA is an official endorser of Manufacturing Day.
