SBA Opens 2025 Small Business Award Nominations

The U.S. Small Business Administration is accepting nominations for national and district small business week awards for 2025.

Individuals or organizations can nominate small businesses with exceptional innovation, growth, community engagement, or resilience.

National awards range from small business person of the year to exporter of the year. 

There are also an additional seven Connecticut district office awards. 

Celebrating Connecticut Leaders

SBA Connecticut district administrator Catherine Marx presented 11 business leaders with awards at TPC River Highlands in May for the 2024 awards.

The winners came from a variety of industries across the state.

“All of our winners excelled in innovation, job creation, revenue growth, and commitment to community,” Marx said.

The SBA is accepting nominations for the 2025 awards until Dec. 5, 2024.

SBA officials are hosting a number of webinars over the next two months to help individuals or organizations who are interested in nominating someone.
