Everyone agrees that the key to economic recovery is to get people back to work. But how?

CBIA members are invited to join like-minded colleagues for an educational meeting about the WorkPath Fund, a new initiative designed to remove obstacles to employment for Connecticut parents with dependent children. By providing small one-time grants for job-related expenses, the WorkPath Fund seeks to enable family breadwinners: possibly out of work for some time: to return to work and the path to self-sufficiency. To find out how you can become involved, set aside some time on Thursday, January 24, 2012 (rain date January 31) for a meeting and networking at:

The Inn at Middletown, 70 Main Street, Middletown

8:30 am to 11:00 am

This meeting is sponsored by the Liberty Bank Foundation. For details, or if you can’t attend but want more information about the initiative, please contact Betty Sugerman Weintraub, Associate Director for Grantmaking and Community Initiatives, Liberty Bank Foundation, 860 704 2181, or bweintraub@liberty-bank.com
