Most HR Pros Find Jobs Stressful

Thirty-five percent of human resource managers and compensation professionals feel their job is very stressful, according to a survey by compliance experts Business and Legal Resources. Fifty-seven percent reported that their work was somewhat stressful, while less than 10% said their jobs were virtually stress free.

HR manager did not, however, make CareerCast’s annual list of ten most stressful occupations. Commercial airline pilot led the way in the top spot, followed by:

  • Public relations officer
  • Senior corporate executive
  • Photojournalist
  • Newscaster
  • Advertising account executive
  • Architect
  • Stockbroker
  • Emergency medical technician
  • Real estate agent
