HR & Safety

Every day, farmworkers are exposed to safety, health, environmental, biological, and respiratory hazards, including grain bins and silos, chemicals, noise, and heat.

As part of this year’s National Farm Safety and Health Week activities, Sept. 22-26, you can partner with the U.S. Occupational Hazard and Safety Administration to raise hazard awareness and help keep workers safe.

  • Daily themes focus on generations of farming, confined spaces, and ATV/UTV safety among others.
  • Nearly a dozen webinars are offered as well as marketing, promotional and outreach materials, and social media promotions.

The week-long schedule is presented in partnership with The AgriSafe Network, a non-profit organization that represents health professionals and educators who work to reduce health disparities in the agricultural community.
