State lawmakers are back at the State Capitol today, Tuesday, June 12, for a special session to wrap up budget-related issues—and more.

Lawmakers are considering two bills: HB 6001 and SB 501.

Included are a revival of proposals expanding last fall’s jobs bill, a proposal from Governor Malloy to allow all cities and towns to phase-in property revalutions for five years, and other issues.

CBIA will have updates on the session, which began with the House session at noon.

Also of interest today was a meeting of the legislature’s new Manufacturing and Advanced Manufacturing Caucus at 9 a.m.

It promises to be a busy week in Hartford!
