All State Regs Now Online

All state agency regulations are now available to the public through a new website, www.ct.gov/eregulations.

Going forward, the site also will contain all state agency notices of intent to adopt new regulations, as well as any emergency regulations.

The concept is something CBIA has supported for years and because it will provide greater access to regulations which have often been difficult to locate.

Yet the new site, the result of Public Act 13-274, is a temporary one as the state builds a more robust eRegulations system to be rolled out next summer.

Eventually, the eRegulations system will provide real-time, searchable access to all state regulations. It also will make the state’s regulation process more transparent by including full access to the regulation-making record, the ability to easily track where a proposed regulatory change is in the process, and email notifications.
