Businesses that experienced property damage from Tropical Storm Irene should report those damages to Connecticut’s free Infoline, 2-1-1, or online at, says Governor Malloy. The 2-1-1 Infoline will be fielding calls seven days a week, 24 hours a day.

Data collected will be used to help prepare the state’s request for a disaster declaration from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).

“If granted, this declaration would bring much needed help to Connecticut residents and businesses,” added Governor Malloy.
