CBIA Tapped for Campaign for a Stronger CT

CBIA has been selected by the Connecticut Health Foundation to join an innovative new effort designed to eliminate health disparities among Connecticut’s residents.

As the business partner in the Campaign for a Stronger Connecticut, CBIA will work with small businesses to provide communication tools and other resources to engage and raise employee awareness about basic health and wellness practices.

This Campaign is a win-win for employers and their employees because a healthier workforce is key to Connecticut’s economic competitiveness.  Wellness activities can decrease absenteeism, increase presenteeism and boost overall moral.

The Campaign is also partnering with community and educational organizations. It is funded by a grant from the Connecticut Health Foundation and created by the Connecticut Association of School Based Health Centers in partnership with Third Sector New England and GALEWILL Design.
