The U.S. Department of Commerce, the Connecticut District Export Council, and partner organizations will host Connecticut Export Week March 14-18.
Hundreds of Connecticut’s businesses will have the opportunity to experience some of the most up-to-date information on international trade opportunities.
Export Week celebrates the exporting successes achieved by Connecticut companies and to encourage more businesses to take their first step towards ‘going global.’
Anne Evans, Director of the U.S. Department of Commerce Export Trade office in Connecticut, said Connecticut companies will gain valuable insights from the week-long program, with a range of planned activities.
Events will focus on market updates, export finance, international IP protection, global advertising, and market research.
The U.S. Department of Commerce Export Center in Middletown, partnering with DECD, is the provider of export trade services in Connecticut.
The office is committed to helping current exporting businesses find new markets and raise awareness to would be exporters that there are opportunities for sales outside the country.
