Former state Rep. Kevin DelGobbo has been elected chairman of the state Department of Public Utility Control (DPUC). He replaces Donald Downes, who is retiring after having served 12 years as DPUC chairman.
CBIA salutes Chairman Downes’s many years of service to the state. His extensive tenure in public administration includes 12 terms as chairman of the DPUC, elected by his fellow commissioners. Downes, who led the DPUC through challenging times in the utility industry, is retiring effective July 1.
