Diane Mokriski Joins CBIA As Human Resources Counsel

Experienced labor and employment law attorney Diane Mokriski has joined CBIA, the state’s leading business organization, as human resources counsel.

Mokriski succeeds Mark Soycher, who is retiring after 25 years helping CBIA member companies navigate the maze of employment law and workplace mandates.

She joins CBIA after more than 21 years in private practice, representing and counseling Connecticut employers on a wide range of employment law issues.

Mokriski represented Connecticut businesses before administrative agencies, as well as state and federal courts, defending them against workplace-related claims such as discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wage and hour violations.

She also routinely litigated contract issues pertaining to non-compete and non-solicitation agreements, as well the misclassification of independent contractors.

She is admitted to practice in Connecticut and is a member of the labor and employment law section of the Connecticut Bar Association, as well as the Society for Human Resource Management.
