Hundreds of business leaders from across the state will participate in Connecticut Business Day, Wednesday, March 9, at the state Legislative Office Building in Hartford.
Sponsored by CBIA and the Connecticut Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives, the event annually brings business leaders and state policymakers together to talk about issues impacting the state’s economy, jobs, and future.
Gov. Malloy and many state lawmakers are planning to participate in the event, which will include remarks by the governor and regional meetings between businesses and legislators.
The Connecticut Business Day program will feature an update on business-related legislative proposals, and a new, interactive session with innovative click-polling technology to assess business leaders’ perspectives on key issues.
The event begins at 9:30 am with registration in Room 2B, and networking; the program starts at 10 am in Room 2C.
With the mid-morning start time, parking near the Legislative Office Building will be at a premium.
However, CBIA is recommending several options for getting to, and parking for, Connecticut Business Day.
