Hundreds of business leaders from across the state are heading to the state Legislative Office Building on Wednesday, Feb. 29, for Connecticut Business Day 2012.

Sponsored by CBIA and the Connecticut Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives, Business Day will be the biggest gathering of employers at the Capitol during the legislative session.

Lt. Gov. Nancy Wyman will be the keynote speaker at the event, which begins with networking and registration at 7:30 am, followed by the program at 8:15 am. After the program, around 11 am, business leaders will be seeking out their local legislators to meet with them on their most important issues.

Employers are coming to Connecticut Business Day with questions about how lawmakers will work to create a more competitive climate for job creation and economic growth—such as by keeping costs low and avoiding more workplace mandates.
