Pat Munger Construction president David DeMaio.

‘“I’m proud that our company is ranked among the top metal builders in North America,” said Munger president David DeMaio. “It has always been Munger’s goal to exceed customer needs for design flexibility and affordable building solutions.

“By taking advantage of Varco Pruden’s comprehensive services and product line, we were able to meet that goal for our metal building customers.”

The Memphis-based Varco Pruden is an industry-leading steel building manufacturer.

Munger’s 444 tons in 2020 represent a 7.8% increase over its 2019 tonnage of 412, according to Metal Construction News.

However, the 139,740 square feet was a 31% drop from the 203,000 square feet of metal building Munger erected in 2019, reflecting an industry-wide trend caused by the pandemic.
