Undergraduate degree, certificate program available

The University of Connecticut offers an undergraduate degree in Occupational and Environmental Health and Safety (OEHS) in the Department of Allied Health Sciences. It also offers a five-course (15 credits) occupational safety and health (OSH) post-baccalaureate certificate program that can be completed entirely online or through a combination of classroom and online courses.

According to Paul Bureau, UCONN OEHS Academic Programs Director, the certificate program may be particularly attractive to employers (private and public) looking to enhance in-house OSH skills and improve their safety and health performance and operational efficiency.
