CBIA and CONNSTEP will recognize companies and individuals that are ensuring a bright future for manufacturing in Connecticut through innovation and leadership.

Nominations are sought now through Sept. 30 for their first manufacturing awards, to be presented Oct. 25 at the Made in Connecticut: 2019 Manufacturing Summit in Trumbull.

The winners will be honored guests at the summit and will be featured in a press release and promoted in CBIA publications and on the CBIA and CONNSTEP websites.

There are two award categories:

  • Workforce Innovation Award: Recognizes manufacturing companies that demonstrate initiative and leadership in working with local schools and their communities to expand awareness of manufacturing as a career and provide manufacturing training opportunities to traditional high school students.
  • Next Generation Leadership Award: Honors remarkable manufacturing professionals 30 years old or younger who inspire youth in traditionally under-served communities (including minority communities, individuals with special needs, or individuals who are or have been incarcerated) to explore careers in manufacturing.

Please help us recognize outstanding manufacturing, innovation, and leadership by submitting your nominations and encourage your fellow manufacturers to do the same.
